The first Friday of June brings with it National Doughnut Day, a day to celebrate the sweet confections. Every year FROST celebrates the Doughnut Day in style and this year was no exception! To keep up with the high demand, all day June 5th we continuously produced doughnuts and were still challenged to keep up with the rising demand as guests eagerly crowded into the shop in Mill Creek Town Center.
Outside on the patio, guests enjoyed sweet treats and iced drinks under a long white carnival tent, taking advantage of the sunshine, gentle breezes, and the calm reprieve from the bustling shop. By 5 pm the DJ had arrived and was playing tunes for the growing crowd.
At just past six, we began our traditional FROST Doughnut Eating Contest. Divided into age-brackets, contestants attempted to eat as many doughnuts (this year they were unfrosted Old Fashioneds) as they could in 90 seconds...no easy feat! The winners received a trophy and a $100 FROST Gift Card.
